The wine was battonaged in 3rd fill and neutral French oak barrels for 2 months, and left on lees for 3 months
On the nose: Blackberries, plums, cherries, black currants and strawberries balanced amongst some savoury, meaty, and earthy notes with a hint of dried herbs.
On the palate: plums and darker berried fruits, savoury characters, with dried herbs and a hint of salumi. Grippy tannins give this wine a lovely structure, with fresh acidity and a long finish.
